intenze ink is good if you like thinner inks, starbrite is alright but super thin, millenium is a better choice of ink-i've used it for 7-8yrs without any problems, waverly inks are even better if you like thick ink, dynamic is also a good ink-except their reds heal funny. scream is a cheaply made beginner ink that i wouldn't bother with. as for fading- if you're not using cheap ink, then the only reason colors will fade is that it is not being put in the skin properly -i.e. soft hitting machine. i use millenium-waverly-dynamic on a daily basis and have not had any problems with fading.
hey thanks for the heads up brian. i think maybe it was sun exposure also..i like the beach a lot. anyway, i was askin cos im in LA right now and might buy inks so i can get the tat artist to use them on me instead of some unknown ones. tnx tons :)
I have color tattoos that are old and they are still bright, only becuz i use sunscreen lotion spf40 to spf70, it preserves color very well,it's like waxing a car-if you want your car's color to be brilliant & shiny for years to come ,then you must wax it to protect it from oxidation from the sun. a lot of tattooers forget about telling clients that ,it kind of slips our minds.heh heh.
oh...no wonder..hahaha.
are there inks that have brighter and bolder colors than others? i want my tattoos to really stand out. some people say it depends on how light or dark your skin is. is it true? im tanned. but okay..ill use sunscreen from now on. hehe
